The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a tenure track faculty member with an interest in disease-oriented immunology research to strengthen existing departmental research focus areas in host-pathogen interactions, neuroimmunology, neurodegeneration or cancer immunology.

The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. and is expected to build or maintain a vibrant research program and participate in graduate and medical student teaching, as appropriate. The successful candidate will be appointed as a member of the department at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level (tenure track).

The department ranks high nationally among peer departments in NIH funding and supports a strong and expanding research enterprise. The department also serves as home of a T32-funded Ph.D. graduate program. Numerous collaborative opportunities exist in the School of Medicine and Public Health and across campus within a diverse immunology research community. The successful candidate will contribute to the collaborative and collegial working environment at our institution.
