The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The University of Toledo invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 2018. Qualified applicants in all areas of Biochemistry will be considered, but preference will be given to those applicants who will complement the Division of Biochemistry’s existing strengths. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a closely related field with at least two years of postdoctoral experience. The successful candidate must exhibit the potential to establish and maintain an externally-funded research program as well as teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
