The research activity is aimed at the development of new methods for the analysis and design of human robot interfaces for tele-operated and cooperative surgical robotics. This activity is supported also by experiments aimed at the assessment of new methods for computer assisted surgery. The research program encompasses three phases: definition of scientific hypotheses, definition of experimental protocols and statistical analysis of the outcome.
