Design and realization of electronic components on flexible substrate
Objective of the project is the development of simulation and printing techniques for the design and fabrication of electronic components on flexible substrates (e.g. plastic). The research activity will focus on the modeling of components such as sensors, transistors and solar cells using commercial or in-house simulators, as well as on their fabrication via printing technologies. The following activities are planned: a) development of physical models and their integration in simulators; b) fabrication of sensors (bio, gas, temperature and humidity), transistors and/or solar cells on flexible substrates; c) characterization and simulations of the built components.
