Description of the position:


The Department of Working Life and Innovation in Grimstad develops and operates the popular study programme in Industrial Economics and Technology Management, in close collaboration with Department of Engineering Sciences at the University of Agder (https://www.uia.no/en/studieplaner/programme/MASTINDØK). The position will be working in close relationship with the university's cross-discipline business and technology environment, which includes researchers from both social science and technology-based disciplines. To further strengthen this profile, we are looking for a candidate with a research interest in the following (or related) areas:


· Supply chain management


· Industrial marketing


· Project management


· Project business


The chosen candidate should contribute to the creation of new knowledge in his/ her specific research area, as well as publish in high quality, international peer reviewed journals. The position also entails participation and/ or management of externally funded research applications and projects, and the successful applicant is expected to actively participate and contribute into such activities.


Research work at the department is collaborative in nature, both when it comes to our industrial partners and academic colleagues. We expect the person appointed to participate in our research projects both as part of the team and in the development of new projects. Strengths in any specific methodological orientation (quantitative and/or qualitative) are appreciated.
