According to the research project EVA (Endocrine Vascular disease Approach), the Research Fellow (RF) will be responsible for the experimental sub-study on in vivo markers of platelet function, assessed by flow cytometry in a cohort of IHD patients who will be enrolled specifically to allow the analysis on fresh blood samples.
Moreover, the RF will be in charge of the clinical and instrumental assessment of the 200 patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD) enrolled in the study at the 12-month follow up visit. The RF will be responsible for the collection of clinical, laboratory and instrumental parameters of the EVA cohort and the RF will build up the database to perform the statistical analysis. Specifically, the RF will develop the study concerning the prognostic impact of traditional and innovative biomarkers on multidimensional assessment of IHD patients in a sex and gender-related perspective.
