lecturer (tenure track) / associate professor Governance - Entrepreneurship
The candidate will lecture in the bachelor and master years of the faculty of Business Economics. The educational task is situated in the fields of Entrepreneurship/Governance/Strategy. Courses include Entrepreneurship (theoretical perspectives, business model canvas, business planning), Entrepreneurial practices (a practical course where students will start their own firm), strategy models, Management Sciences, and IT Business Models. Vision, commitment and engagement with regard to education and the related courses is assumed.
Within the research group Governance (GOV), the applicant is supposed to engage in research on Governance (strategic change, boards of directors, Top Management Teams with a focus on team behavior) and Entrepreneurship (Entrepreneurial Orientation, intentions & actions) in a private and family firm context in order to stimulate cooperation with other researchers of the research group GOV and the Research Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Firms (RCEF). RCEF focuses on several governance and entrepreneurship topics taking into account the specificity of the private and family firm context. The applicant is assumed to publish in high quality international scientific journals. He/she will also try to obtain funding to initiate new PhD projects.
