The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), a joint department of the School of Medicine and the School of Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is searching to fill two Researcher IV positions in an NIH-funded laboratory that performs molecular, cellular, and animal studies on cardiovascular disease models. Projects are related to non-coding RNA in cardiovascular biology and heart and vascular disease.
Qualified candidates are required to possess a PhD and/or MD in Biomedical Engineering or related field. It is preferred that candidates have at least 3 years postdoctoral training and can independently perform the activities outlined above. Candidates with high motivation and career goals for academic development are invited to apply.
