The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in organic chemistry effective August 2018. Highly qualified candidates may be considered for appointment at a higher rank. Required qualifications: a doctorate or near completion in organic chemistry or in a closely related discipline; evidence of teaching effectiveness, an interest in instructional innovation at the undergraduate level, and demonstrated potential for developing a vigorous research program involving undergraduates and Master’s students. Essential job functions include: classroom teaching and student advising; curriculum development and continuous improvement; and service and committee work.
