The Faculty of Engineering (www.sdu.dk/en/TEK)


at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is seeking an Associate


Professor who will have the function as Programme Leader of the


Faculty's Industry 4.0 laboratory, (I4.0 Lab) and thus have coordinating


responsibility of the I4.0 Lab activities across the Faculty and SDU.


This includes responsibility to ensure optimal development and


utilization of the I4.0 Lab in the Faculty's relevant teaching, research


and industrial collaboration efforts. The starting date of the position


is as soon as possible. The Programme Leader has coordinating authority


and does not have personnel leadership responsibilities at this time.


The


I4.0 Lab is a facility under development that is part of a larger


SDU-wide effort to address some of the greatest opportunities and


challenges within I4.0. It is both a physical facility as well as an


educational and industrial collaboration platform and programme. It is


intended to help SDU best utilise our positions of strength in robotics


and drones as well as provide highly sought after I4.0 expertise to


industry and academia.
