circulating microvesicles are important mediators in intercellular communications and play a key role in different pathological processes, including coronary artery disease and atherothrombosis. The project is aimed to: a) evaluate tha functional properties and molecular signature of monocytes-derived microvesicles obtained from patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft, angioplasty or stent, b) assess whethermonocytes-derived microvesicles predispose to restenosis (after intervention) or just represent an epiphenomenon.
