The research aims at developing identification control algorithms for ground vehicles. The research will consider and analyze several models for the vehicle dynamics of interest, starting both from first principles and from identification techniques. Subsequently, the control algorithms will be developed based on the models defined in the previous phase of the research. The control algorithms will be tested and validated in simulation, in order to assess the final performance. If possible, the algorithms will be also implemented on electronic control units and tested on board of the vehicles.
