CONTROL AND SIMULATION OF AUTOMATED ENERGY SYSTEMS
The aim of this research is the modelling, control and simulation of automated energy systmes. Simulation and advanced control techniques will be adopted, like model predictive control techniques. Some examples of typical applications that the researcher will take into account are: highly automated discrete production systems (activity aimed at the increase of the system efficiency, using simulation instruments, discrete event systems, control and optimization techniques), as well as management and control of energy for final uses.
