The program addresses the issues related to the use and transfer of water for the production of food and other goods. Belong to this project the activities related to the:
Water resources assessment and quantification of the flows of precipitation, infiltration and discharge;
Water footprint calculation and virtual water content assessment;
Analysis of the complex network of international food trade and its socio-economic implications;
Analysis of crises and their propagation in network systems.
