Responsibilities:

Oversees the Employer Branding, Social Media, Candidate Experience and Recruiting Solutions for Merck globally

*
Partner with Talent Acquisition Leaders and Service Delivery for delivering a consistent, optimal candidate experience

*
Collaborates and consults with teams to identify, implement and execute Employer Brand Proposition (EVP) consistent with the global Merck / MSD framework.

*
Create a best in class hiring process to ensure a flawless relationship with the candidate and partner with the various stakeholders to implement the process.

*
Partner with the Talent Acquisition, HR and line leaders to help them develop their social/branding strategy for the divisions/regions.

*
Develop and design talent brand focused social media and digital strategies, ensuring alignment to the content marketing strategy, monitoring and enterprise social media policy; support localization where needed.

*
Strong understanding of emerging social channels, and ability to identify where to have the right conversations at the right time

*
Partner with Corporate Communications to establish/maintain an organizational recruiter and employee brand and ensure alignment with the global company reputation strategy.

*
Advocacy and enablement program (branding toolkit, brand strategy, etc.)

*
Develop and oversee the recruitment marketing and branding strategy, ensuring applicable technologies, systems and vendors are being fully utilized to drive hiring programs, further brand reach and perform regular analysis to assess ROI

*
Build social/branding capabilities with the Talent Acquisition leaders and Talent Acquisition teams

*
Shape audience-based targeted EVP to attract and retain defined talent pools.

*
Oversee brand recognition, exposure and reputation for the global talent acquisition organization, analyze social media and web metrics and related data to assess ROI and recommend improvements to strategic and tactical plans.

*
Develop and implement a clear and consistent global recruiting process that is supported and adhered to by the business, HR and Talent Acquisition

*
Oversight for the Global Talent Acquisition Budget

Qualifications

Education Requirement:

*
Bachelor’s Degree

Required:

*
Minimum of 12 years of work experience

*
Talent Acquisition experience – 5 years minimum, previous management experience necessary

*
Demonstrated expertise leveraging global social recruiting channels and solutions like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and Facebook.

*
Intellectual curiosity around the emerging field of candidate experience and a passion for the tools that support it.

*
Ability to influence, consult and collaborate at all levels of the organization

*
Understanding of metrics and analytics

*
Good communication skills

*
External labor market and best practice knowledge

*
Strategic thinking
