Kandydat na stanowisko powinien:


  • hold a PhD degree with “habilitation” in the field of biological sciences in the discipline of biology;

  • have a documented academic achievements published in the journals from the A list compiled by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the form of: (a) authorship and co-authorship of scientific publications on the genetic characteristics of Anaplasma and Rickettsia bacteria and other pathogens, their vectors, potential reservoir, and genetic variability of vertebrate animals;

  • participate in research grants funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (formerly Committee on Scientific Research);

  • have didactic experience in conducting classes with students in the field of classical and molecular genetics, evolutionary mechanisms, phylogenetics, animal in vitro culture, biological basis of forensic science;

  • have practice in: (a) the use of molecular methods in genetic research, knowledge of various genetic material isolation procedures depending on its origin and destination for further analysis; knowledge of PCR and its variants as well as sequencing; (b) study design for identifying species of ticks and animals; (c) knowledge of bioinformatics databases and software used for genetic and phylogenetic analyses;

  • have knowledge of speaking and writing Polish and English language
