Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Works independently on projects of moderate to high complexity under supervision of Manager.

- Formulates live viral bulk blends as needed based on production requirements.

- Manages antigen inventory and communicates needed components to production planners.

- Uses SAP to batch determine lot numbers, obtain test results and manage antigen inventory.

- Meets regularly with production planners and management to determine requirements to maintain production.

- Assembles prototype blends to maximize antigen usage.

- Assists in the investigation of Notice of Events (NOE) along with writing of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Regularly works in a biocontainment hood using proper aseptic techniques and has the ability to accurately pipette material.

- Other duties as assigned by Manager.



- High School Diploma or GED required
Required :

- 2 years’ experience in cGMP regulated industry.

- Strong English reading/comprehension skills required to understand detailed SOP and Manufacturing Instructions. Ability to read and understand chemical labeling and warnings.

- An understanding of aseptic techniques and procedures.

- Basic mathematical skills - ability to use both U.S. customary and metric systems.

- Proven ability to work safely in a production environment. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (hair net, beard net (if applicable), safety glasses and leather skid resistant shoes/boots).

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Team oriented


- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology, Biology or related science.

- Understanding of manufacturing procedures, techniques and equipment.

- Attention to detail and documentation skills

- Communicate and work in cooperation with other employees in the manufacturing environment.

- Inventory control concepts .

- Basic computer skills (i.e. e-mail, Microsoft office suite, SAP, etc.)

- Technical writing skills along with root cause analysis and problem solving skills.

- An adaptable, flexible, dependable, team player with strong communication, learning, self-managing and decision-making skills that wants to be a leader in safety and compliance in a dynamic and growing manufacturing environment.
