The Physics Department at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” has an immediate opening to appoint one tenure-track Lectureship in Theoretical Physics of Fundamental Interactions. The appointment will be for three years, with the possibility of tenure after review.


According to QS World rating-Physics and Astronomy 2015 the Physics Department is in the top 100, as in the years 2014, 2013 ,2012, and in the third position among the Italian Physics Departments. The Physics Department has also been selected in 2010 for the CHE (Centre For Higher Education) Excellence ranking. The Physics Department is the fundamental landmark of the Tor Vergata University for Physics, both from the research point of view and the education. The Faculty staff is composed by 38 professors and 23 researchers.


Appropriate knowledge of the Italian language is required.
