A tenure-track/tenured position is available for an Open Rank Environmental Toxicologist/ Biochemical/Molecular Toxicologist. This is an academic-year (9-mo) tenure-track/tenured appointment which includes an expectation that the appointee’s program will be relevant to the mission-oriented research and outreach of the California Agricultural Experiment Station. Affiliation with the UC Davis Genome Center is possible for individuals with technology or computation-driven programs. We are especially interested in individuals who have, or will establish, a strong and innovative program of fundamental through translational and/or applied research focused on, but not limited to, environmental toxicology, biochemical and molecular toxicology, mechanistic toxicology, toxicogenomics or systems toxicology relevant to the mission of the Agricultural Experiment Station. The successful applicant is expected to have, or to develop, an independent, internationally-recognized and well-funded research program, to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Environmental Toxicology curriculum (for example a course in introductory toxicology, molecular toxicology, or systems toxicology), to develop a course in their area of expertise, to train and supervise undergraduate and graduate students, to perform department and university service, and to collaborate with established programs within the university.
