Postdoc in Host-Pathogen Interactions/Neuroimmunology/Neuroinflammation, Oregon Health Science University
NIH funded post-doctoral position available in the Aballay lab https://www.ohsu.edu/xd/education/schools/school-of-medicine/departments/basic-science-departments/molecular-microbiology-and-immunology/research/Aballay-Lab.cfm at Oregon Health Science University, School of Medicine. Our laboratory has several exciting projects related to neural-immune communications, including the study of infection-induced neurodegeneration, the role of GPCRs in the control of immune homeostasis, and proteostasis. A variety of genetic, genomic, proteomic, pharmacologic, and cell biology approaches to clarify the role of the nervous system in the regulation of innate immune responses against bacterial pathogens are used.
