The Department of Microbiology and Immunology in the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The Department has been a catalyst for translational and team-based research and the ideal candidate will be an innovative and collaborative researcher. Preferred areas of research include host-pathogen interactions, microbial pathogenesis, and immunology. Requirements include a Ph.D. and/or M.D., productive postdoctoral experience, and the ability to develop and sustain a nationally funded research program. Applicants for appointment at the Associate Professor level must have an established and consistent record of independent publications and funding.
The successful applicant will receive a highly competitive salary and startup package. Departmental and institutional resources include state-of-the-art core facilities in genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, flow cytometry, and microscopy in addition to conventional and barrier animal facilities.
