MANAGEMENT AND NEW IMPLEMENTATION OF DATA CHARACTERIZING THE ONCO-EMATOLOGICAL PATIENT AND THE HO...
The Institute of Haematology Seràgnoli performs at its three hospital wards on average 500-600 admissions per year. Most inpatients have onco-haematological disease and are subject to a high risk of infectious complications.
To this end, the Institute for over ten years has regularly implemented a system of continuous monitoring of patient admissions in the three departments (Section I and II and BCM - Low Load Microbial).
In addition to providing a control function, this system has enabled the design and implementation of study protocols, gaining scientific and clinical implications, with direct results on the daily lives of patients.
Renewing the Data Collection Platform will enable automated procedures nowadays in Haematology (compilation of infection cards, collecting consents to studies, monitoring clinical trials and related drugs, environmental monitoring) and to dialogue with the Quality Management System of the ' College-university company.
