THE CLINICAL DIAGNOSTICS DIVISION (CDD)

The Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD) is an organization made up of business units which develop, manufacture and market instruments and consumables that serve a broad, diverse mix of diagnostic segments. The major business units include Niche Diagnostics, Biomarkers, Clinical Diagnostics Systems, and Contract Manufacturing. The division manages a diverse portfolio of products servicing multiple end markets. CDD maintains recognized technology and manufacturing leadership in the markets in which it serves. CDD has approximately $750M in revenue and 2,000 employees across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Principle global business locations are in California and Virginia for the United States; primary global business unit locations also include Germany and Finland. Emerging markets focus particularly in the China marketplace.

Overview:

You will have the chance to work with team members to manufacture using SOPs and cGMP, and participate in the final kit assembly, testing and qualification of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods, reviewing of batch records and other documentation, scheduling and reporting metrics, and assisting with equipment validations. You will get to print labels and rack viles.

In addition, this role calls for a highly collaborative person who will enjoy working within a diverse team, and is self-motivated, independent, and proactive with a strong attention to detail, along with effective communication skills. It is important to have poficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, understand workflow and technologies used in the manufacturing environment, and will be able to communicate all issues and daily workflow to manager (we utilize QAD and AGILE).

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma, Some College (Bachelor's of Science Degree preferred)
1+ years of industry experience
