Post-Doctoral Fellow in Economics of Innovation
The successful candidate will conduct high-level international research in the field of applied economics, with special reference to the economics of innovation, international trade and/or regional economics. The successful candidate will participate in joint research projects and discussions, and contribute to events such as workshops and seminars. The position is targeted at promising researchers in applied economics, or related fields, who work on the Economics of Innovation, International Trade or Regional Economics. Within these fields, all types of research interests are welcome but preference will be given to researchers performing empirical work on microdata (individual and firm level data; patents and scientific publications). Knowledge of statistical packages (Stata, R), network analysis and/or machine learning methods will be a plus.
