A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Clint Makino, Department of Physiology and Biophysics located in the Center for Advanced Biomedical Research at Boston University School of Medicine. The fellow will use electrophysiological and microspectrophotometric methods to explore molecular mechanisms regulating how retinal rods and cones begin the visual process and the disruptive effects of blinding diseases. Highly motivated candidates should have a PhD and research experience in a relevant field and have published at least one first author paper.
