Faculty - Cancer Cell Biology

The Department of Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy (CBNA), in partnership with the MCW Cancer Center, seeks applications for open rank Faculty positions to develop research programs addressing basic and translational processes in cancer biology. Outstanding candidates using genetically engineered animal models, integrated proteomic and transcriptomic analysis, and cellular imaging to investigate oncogenic signaling pathways, cancer metabolism, and epigenetic gene regulation are especially encouraged to apply, although all areas of tumor biology and the tumor microenvironment will be considered.

CBNA is a basic science department on the MCW Healthcare Campus that prioritizes a collaborative approach toward impactful discoveries, and conveyance of the excitement of fundamental research to our trainees. The MCW Cancer Center coalesces investigators from MCW, Froedtert Hospital, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the Zablocki VA Medical Center and the Wisconsin BloodCenter to cooperate and translate basic research into patient care.

Applicants interested in joining our research enterprise as MCW Faculty should provide a curriculum vitae, a 2-page description of research interest and future research plans and contact details for three referees to CBNAcancerfacultysearch@mcw.edu no later than October 20th 2017.  Candidates at senior levels (associate or full professor) are expected to lead an established, NIH/NCI-funded research program.

MCW is an EO/AA employer and does not discriminate in hiring on the basis of age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation.
