Design and validation of IoT systems for Home Automation and Energy Management
In the current system of energy distribution, the customer plays a passive role because he has no information about to optimize in real time his consumption, both for cost savings and for the control of his own comfort, as well as to minimize the effect that his choices have on power distribution network. For this reason, an energy gateway, will be implemented. It collects consumption data, analyzes and synthetizes the information to be presented to the customer. This system will adopts the benefits offered by Internet of Things approach, allowing an easy integration of new sensors in existing plants, offering the possibilities to create new services.
