The Morgridge Institute for Research, a premier private, nonprofit research institute affiliated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, seeks outstanding early- to mid-career scientists to lead vibrant metabolism-focused research programs based in biochemistry and/or chemical biology. We are particularly interested in interdisciplinary and collaborative-minded scientists passionate about exploring the basic molecular and mechanistic underpinnings of primary cellular metabolism, and how essential biological processes are linked to the metabolic state of a cell. Our recruitment of investigators into the new Metabolism Theme is part of our larger Metabolism Initiative that aims to enhance the pace, productivity, and international profile of metabolism-related research in Madison.
Candidates must have a proven track record of high quality research related to metabolism, have outstanding communication skills, and embrace the collaborative and interdisciplinary culture of the institute. Successful candidates will be eligible for appointment to a tenure track or tenured position at the UW-Madison. The institute provides an attractive salary and benefits package and offers generous start-up support.
