At the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine the Center for Therapeutic Innovation has built a team of drug discovery and development experts who are engaged in areas of human therapy discovery.

Recruitment is on-going to fill postdoctoral positions pertaining to cancer and rare genetic disorders, among other therapeutic areas. The ideal applicant will have a unique skill set that complements the skills already present within the Center and that can be applied to the discovery of novel treatments for disease. 

Applicants should have a doctorate and a strong background in contemporary biology and/or medicine. Pharmacology, disease physiology, drug screening, target identification, and animal disease modeling are among the desired skill sets. Experience from the pharma/biotech is also an asset, as is the ability to work independently and to lead teams of researchers.
