Assistant Professor of Physics (Tenure Track)
The Natural Sciences Department of Daemen College, located in a suburb of Buffalo, New York, invites applicants to apply for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Physics to begin September 2018. Yearly teaching responsibilities would include: algebra-based physics I and II for allied health students and science majors; applied physics for athletic training students. And, as needed, calculus-based physics I and II (lecture and lab) for math and natural science students. Additional courses may be developed based on expertise. Ph.D. in Physics, biophysics or related area required. Teaching experience highly desired, and the successful candidate is expected to establish a research program and to conduct undergraduate research projects with students.
