Team dynamics and knowledge management: key issues and challenges for creative organizations
The research project aims at examining and understanding the mechanisms through which organizations perform several knowledge-intensive activities such as learning, innovating and knowledge sourcing. Specifically, the study focuses on the analysis of the teams as the most suitable form of organization to use knowledge-based resources to achieve high levels of performance. The research project proposes to answer to the following research questions:
• How does team composition affect knowledge management capabilities?
• What are the moderating effects of single individual characteristics and organizational factors on the relationship between team knowledge management capabilities and organizational performance?
