HUMAN RIGHTS. HISTORY, THEORY AND PRACTICE
The research activity will be conducted on topics selected by Professors of the Scientific Board, in agreement with the Ph.D. students, in the following fields: Roman law, history of medieval and modern law, philosophy of law, constitutional and ecclesiastical law, criminal law and procedure.
In addition to the advanced training common courses, the Ph.D. students will carry out a research activity individually and in team directed to the publication of scientific papers during the three years of their period of studies and to the final dissertation of the PhD.
Courses will be organized for advanced training in the different fields of the Ph.D., along with courses of interdisciplinary nature. Moreover, seminars will be held on specific issues, also with the participation of distinguished professors that are not PhD Scientific Board members.
Particular attention will be committed to the internationalization issues, especially by encouraging research stays abroad of PhD students.
