PUBLIC HEALTH AND PREVENTIVE MEDICINE
The training objective of the PhD is aimed to the acquisition of planning and research methodologies in Public Health, recognizing as a guiding principle the prevention of diseases, in particular as prevention of health in the living and working environments, study bio-morphological, cellular and molecular mechanisms, management of healthcare diagnostic and therapeutic activities.
The PhD in Public Health and Preventive Medicine, involving several cultural areas, provides interdisciplinary insights and comparisons aimed to a highly qualified doctoral training, as currently required in the cultural and scientific fields.
The training obtained with the PhD is valuable especially in the basic research of the etiopathogenetic mechanisms and the organizational and management structure of the healthcare facilities in order to optimize the health resources and to realize and distribute the "health product "(Process management, risk management, clinical governance, quality and distribution).
