R&D Engineer Wet etch/clean

Currently we are looking for a motivated R&D Engineer Wet etch/clean to be part of the Surface and Interface Preparation (SIP) team.
This position requires a strong technical background in the area of wet etching & cleaning to enable processes within the next generation of MOL, BEOL and 3D integration flows. This positions requires an active engagement in 1) the imec programs through process module development, 2) the Joined Development Programs with tool and chemical suppliers and 3) the expertise areas to broaden the fundamental knowledge base. The overall responsibility is to deliver in a timely & efficient manner wet etch and clean process solutions as well as basic understanding of the developed process steps. In day-to-day operations, you are supported by the operational services provided within the organization.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Driving an understanding the wet etching and cleaning process requirements with the MOL, BEOL and 3D related modules.
- Facilitate partnerships and technical exchanges between SIP and the JDP partners.
- Providing solutions to projects and processes in research and development.
- Implementing methodology to ensure process robustness & process control.
- Supporting strategy for wet etch process development and process knowledge (expertise).
- Writing papers, patents and extending your network.
