The objective of this multidisciplinary project is to demonstrate the feasibility of organizing and engineering surfaces with defined chiral host and receptor sites, perhaps aligned in a periodic manner, where catalysts can be absorbed. For this purpose, it is envisaged to develop new methods and approaches to supra-molecularly engineer patterned monolayer at different interfaces featuring hosting properties toward catalytically-active guest and creating chiral porous networks. Then, it will search novel ways of inducing, extrapolating and interfacing the chirality effect towards the enantioselective synthesis.temperature-stable porous chiral network would provide the cavities to host catalysts, where it is possible to study the chemical reactions. It is believed that these cavities act as nanoreactors for the chemical transformation of molecular reagents in chiral structures, which have homogeneous structural and electronic properties driven by the chiral cavities themselves
