Postdoctoral Researcher or Scientist Positions in Cancer and Environmental Stressors

Two positions are available in the Furdui Group at Wake Forest School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, NC. Research will focus on the etiology and treatment of cancers associated with exposure to environmental stressors  (nanoparticles, infectious pathogens): Lung Cancer and Head and Neck Cancer.

Candidates with expertise in cell and molecular biology, working with relevant animal models, redox biology, oral microbiome, imaging of animal or clinical tissue specimens are encouraged to apply. These positions are funded for 3-5 years with progression based on annual evaluations.

Requirements: PhD in Biological Sciences or other relevant field; Communication, Writing and Oral Presentation Skills (very good-excellent); Compatibility with Multidisciplinary Teams; Interest in Translational Projects.
