Our responsibilities also include the evaluation and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and process analytical technologies.

You will support the Process Modelling group in Process Research & Development. The Process Modelling group applies mathematical models based on mechanistic understanding of manufacturing processes of oral dosage forms, to predict intermediates and product quality given the process operating conditions and to scale up the manufacturing process from laboratory to full scale.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Perform comprehensive literature review
  • Plan, organize and perform experiments independently as well as collaboratively
  • Set up and run simulations of the process by using appropriate mechanistic models available in software of choice
  • Evaluate and compare experimental data with simulation results and propose next steps for experimental and/or modelling work
  • Summarize results and present them clearly and effectively in meetings as well as oral presentations and reports
