Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry

Schmid College of Science and Technology (SCST) at Chapman University seeks applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry, effective Fall 2018.

Qualifications

Requirements include a Ph.D. in chemistry, with subsequent specialization in Organic Chemistry. The successful candidate will have a strong research record, excellent teaching skills, and an interest in mentoring undergraduate student researchers.

Responsibilities

The candidate will teach in the introductory level organic chemistry sequence and upper division chemistry electives. The candidate is also expected to establish a successful research program with undergraduate student involvement.
