As a Sr. Specialist, Trainer you will be responsible for:

*
Designing, developing, maintaining, delivering, and facilitating training including instructor-led sessions, Qualifications, and on-line / self-paced courses.

*
Working directly with source Subject Matter Experts on the development of the training materials.

*
Revising materials to keep pace with learning best practices and technical changes.

*
Evaluating training courses for effectiveness using trainee feedback, area management discussions, deviation reports, etc. as sources of information and implement improvements.

*
Developing and scoring Knowledge Transfer Assessments (KTAs) and conducting additional training for employees who do not initially meet the minimum score.

*
Developing and evaluating Skills Demonstration Assessments (SDAs) to qualify employees for task training. Provide additional training for those employees who do not successfully qualify.

*
Applying adult learning principles and company design methodology to training materials.

*
Performing needs assessment and task analysis.

*
Managing instructional design projects.

*
Developing assessment methodologies .

*
Developing timelines and service level expectations for instructional projects.

*
Assisting area management with development and maintenance of job-specific curricula for their areas.

*
Assisting area management with deviation investigations involving training related topics and human error issues.

*
Developing training content and materials for at least 3 functional areas.

*
Administering various functions within the Learning Management System (LMS).

*
Directing support of IPT Teams.

*
Maintaining on-line reference library for site job-roles.

Qualifications

Education:

*
Bachelor’s Degree or higher (with a focus on science, engineering or other technical field)

Required:

*
A minimum 7 years’ experience in a cGMP environment (including 3 years of experience directly related to training (delivery and creation).

*
Good working knowledge of cGMP requirements.

*
Experience in conducting and evaluating training .

*
Experience with laboratory and/or manufacturing instruments/equipment.

*
Strong leadership skills including proven Project Management skills.

*
Must be flexible and able to manage multiple priorities while working within a matrixed stakeholder environment.

*
Must be goal-oriented and able to manage risks.

*
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

*
Experience in developing training materials.

*
Professional “Learning and Performance” Certification.

*
Experience and strong knowledge of the end-to-end learning process (learning needs assessment, program design and delivery, and learning evaluation).

*
Experience with Biotech/Pharmaceutical processes.

*
Experience with Laboratory and/or Manufacturing instruments/equipment
