The Immunodiagnostics Division (IDD) of develops, manufactures and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees based in 25 countries worldwide IDD is the global leader in in-vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.

The Federal Accounts Specialist is responsible for securing sustained clinical adoption amongst clinicians who practice within (or have an affiliation with) a federal government facility such as a Department of Defense, Indian Health, Veterans Affairs and / or other federal agencies. Will work as part of a small “federal account team” to ensure the alignment of the right resources to support this growing opportunity for IDD's business. Will have sole accountability for sales within targeted federal facilities. In essence, will serve as a vital link to clinicians to educate and persuade them to be clinical champions for our diagnostic test.

Responsibilities:
    Persuasively sell the concept of using a new diagnostic test to targeted physicians and markets.Instruct physicians how to utilize the technology, interpret the data and how to use the data to manage the patients' care.Develop and grow market share based on established sales goals for territory.Train medical office staff on how to properly interpret test result information for communicating results to patients.Responsible for submitting timely and accurate weekly call reports for creating vital database for tracking sales, product use, profile data, market analysis, and commission statistics.Participate in district meetings for training purposes, product information updates, and sharing field intelligence information.Work closely with Federal Laboratory managersAbility to travel 80%.

Minimum Qualifications:
    Access to Department of Defense installationsBachelor's degreeMinimum of three years military experience

Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience in Military Health Care settingExperience teaching or marketing to primary care physiciansSkills in training, educating and teaching concepts are highly desirableAbility to concept sell, articulate and persuasively deliver sales messageExcellent verbal and communication skillsMust have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The person in this role may be located close to a major metropolitan area anywhere within the United States.
