Postdoctoral Positions Available in Cancer and Glioma Stem Cell Biology Laboratory at the Meyer Cancer Center, Weill Cornell College of Medicine

The Glioma Stem Cell Biology Laboratory at the Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell College of Medicine (formerly Molecular Neuro-Oncology Laboratory of the Neuro-Oncology Branch of the NIH) is a rapidly growing program/laboratory benefitting from exceptional resources, scientific freedom and extraordinary local environment of world-renowned cancer biologists and neuroscientists. Our largest and most rapidly growing area of focus is in the area of tumor stem cell biology and glioma-normal host cell (e.g. astrocytes, neurons) interactions through calcium transits, glutamate, serotonin and other neurotransmitters signaling as studies through the continued development and refinement of a novel “tumor on a chip” technology we have developed using pluripotent cell-derived human cerebral organoids.
