The Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology, and the Vanderbilt Institute for Infection, Immunology, and Inflammation (VI4) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level (PhD, MD, MD/PhD). Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, viral pathogenesis, bacterial pathogenesis, and host-microbe interactions. Successful candidates will be expected to establish and maintain an independent research program and participate in teaching of graduate and medical students. Candidates should have substantial post-graduate training highlighted by peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity.
