Postdoctoral Position in Cardiovascular Research
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to work at the Center for Cardiovascular Research at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have research experience in the field of vascular biology as it relates to cardiovascular diseases. Cell and molecular biology and/or immunology background preferred for studying the role of vascular inflammation in atherosclerosis.
The candidate will be responsible for in vitro bench and in vivo mouse experimentation. Experience in vascular biology techniques, particularly with endothelial cells and macrophages, as well as tissue handling, histology and imaging techniques desired.
