Assistant Professor in Molecular Genetics
The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the broad areas of Molecular Genetics, Genome Biology, Gene Expression or Developmental Genetics. The position is anticipated at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level. We seek an outstanding scientist who will enhance and complement existing strengths in our broad-based interactive biology department. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral research experience and will be expected to establish an extramurally funded research program, train graduate students, and actively participate in undergraduate science education.
