Applications are invited for a non-tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the Graduate College of Biomedical Sciences, Western University of Health Sciences, on its Pomona, California campus. Rank and salary will be based upon qualifications and experience.
Preferences will be given to candidates with significant teaching experience in various areas of biology, in particular physiology or cell biology. Candidates must have a PhD in a field of biomedical sciences from an accredited institution and additional postdoctoral training is preferred. The Graduate College is currently offering two master’s degree programs. Successful candidates will be expected to teach several courses at the graduate level, to interact with existing faculty, and make additional contributions to scholarship and service. Applicants must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills. The Graduate College provides competitive salary and benefits.
