Postdoc working in the field of
nitride based semiconductor quantum dots.
In our division, InGaN and GaN quantum dot (QD) structures are fabricated by hot wall MOCVD. A novel concept to fabricate dots, pyramidal QDs, has been developed in our group. These QD structures will be characterised by the postdoc, primarily by luminescence and TEM/SEM characterisation. The postdoc will also interact with the MOCVD growers on the fabrication as well as perform processing in order to develop efficient light emitters based on the pyramidal QDs. Part of this work is performed in a recently started spin-off company.
It is important that the applicant has demonstrated experience in nitride based QDs, optical and structural characterisation, processing of semiconductor emitter structures.
