Postdoctoral Research Associate
A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Dev Karan at the University of South Carolina, Columbia (SC). Our research focuses on understanding the immunobiology, and development of targeted therapy specific to prostate cancer. This project is aimed at determining the mechanistic role of novel molecules in the immunobiology of prostate cancer. We utilize cell line cultures, mouse models and a wide array of molecular and immunological methodologies.
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a Ph.D. in cancer immunology, cancer biology, molecular/cell biology or other related field of biomedical sciences. The candidate should have communication skills in English, able to write scientific reports, manuscripts, and related materials for presentation in journals and at meetings. Preference will be given to the candidate with background in prostate cancer and experience in mouse model studies.
