Heritage to the future
The project aims to investigate the museum from a historical-critical and managerial point of view, consistent with the various souls of the museological discipline, defined by G.H. Rivière as "science museum" and the new museology. The survey will focus on the recovery of documentary sources on the history, construction and forms of the museum, especially the twentieth century, and the necessary communication and the sharing of the results of museological research through digital information. The focus of the research is responding to explore the many initiatives promoted by the Italian museums between the thirties and the postwar initiatives that have altered, innovated, expanded, or in some cases reduced, the potential of the museum, including the phenomena related to private collectors of the early twentieth century. In terms of museum records management, will contribute to research the public-private partnership on outsourced services.
