CULTURE, EDUCATION, COMMUNICATION
The course has two different curricula: Comunicazione educativa (Educational Communication) and
Apprendimento permanente (Lifelong Learning). Both comprise complementary and integrated
research areas: on the one hand, the research on Education and Training (and hence Culture) and
on the other hand Communication and Teaching Technologies.
The first area is more oriented to the identification, analysis and experimentation of (theoretical and
empirical) models of educational governance with respect to the plurality of training times and the
multiplicity of intervention areas in the perspective of lifelong-lifewide learning. The second area
concentrates on innovative teaching processes, on the dynamics of e-learning contexts and on the
design of multimedia learning interactions and learning objects.
The PhD is based on two fundamental categories: interdisciplinarity and internationalization.
