The Finance section of the Erasmus School of Economics is currently seeking a new non-tenure track faculty member and invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Finance. The Lecturer position involves an important teaching task, where the candidate will teach courses in our master (MSc) and bachelor (BSc) programmes. The position also involves thesis supervision, overall assistance in departmental activities such as development of (new) courses and course material. In these and other ways, the Lecturer will help to develop innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement, increasing diversity, and expanding collaborations with community and business partners.
Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate an interest in teaching at the BSc and MSc level and a proven track record in this respect. We expect the candidate to have a sound background in finance, preferably but not necessarily demonstrated by a PhD Degree in Finance.
